Batman vs. Predator III: Blood Ties is a 4‑issue 1997–1998 crossover where a young Predator comes to Gotham for a coming‑of‑age hunt—and targets Robin—forcing Batman into a brutal conflict while another Predator father seeks to protect his son. It’s written by Chuck Dixon with art by Rodolfo Damaggio and Robert Campanella
A Predator father brings his adolescent son to Earth for a rite‑of‑passage hunt—a tradition in their species. The son chooses Robin as his prey, believing that killing Batman’s partner will prove his worth. Batman becomes the primary obstacle to the young Predator’s “Blooding” ritual. Gotham becomes the battleground for this intergenerational alien hunt.
