    JLA: A League of One is a fully painted 2001 graphic novel in which Wonder Woman discovers a prophecy foretelling that a resurrected dragon will kill the entire Justice League—unless she stops it alone. To save her teammates’ lives, she makes the heartbreaking choice to take them out of action one by one so she can face the threat herself.

   If the Justice League faces the dragon together, they will all die. Only one hero can stop it — Wonder Woman.
