You choose your paths to Adventure! \n \nAs Baltek grasps the huge cornerstones, a click echoes out of the murky passageway. You step closer to the gloomy doorway and peer inside. A pitch-black curtain of darkness greets your eyes. You hear another click, and another! Finally, a dragon skeleton creeps into the dim light. It must be forty feet from the end of it toothy mouth to the last tiny tailbone. Two wicked horns, nearly as long as Baltek's arms rise out of its forehead. "The guardian of the cube!" Lydia screams, "We must flee or die!" "And leave the Cube of Mystic Forces?" Pentegarn gasps, "Never! Without it, our mission is doomed!

1. if you choose to stay and battle the gruesome guardian, turn to page 77.
2. But if you are going to flee the mighty monster, leaving the cube behind, turn to page 81.

The choice is yours. The chance that you can defeat the skeleton dragon is very small, indeed. But if you flee, you may not find another path to victory. Only you can choose your path to adventure, to fame and fortune or disaster!
