Take a step back to March of 2000 and look at the collectible card landscape of the time. What were they saying? What was hot? Which games are still around? Which games have faded into obscurity. Which cards have held their value? Which have skyrocketed. In 2000, and alpha Black Lotus was valued at $485. It doesn't seem like too much now does it?
Here is a chance to embark on a little printed archaeology. 2000 wasn't that long ago, was it? Scrye magazine was a great resource for checking out the collectible cards that had captured our hearts and dollars. It is interesting and entertaining to take this dive in to the world of Collectible Card Games in the spring of 2000.
The magazine shows some wear around the edges but is complete and in very good shape for almost 25 years old.
