    SCTV Volume 1 is a 5-disc DVD box set that features the shows of the Canadian sketch comedy series SCTV Network/90. The show stars comedy’s brightest northern lights such as Eugene Levy, Joe Flaherty, Rick Moranis, and others. It was first aired in 1981 and was expanded to 90 minutes in length after being picked up by NBC.

Although SCTV had been broadcast in Canada and had been in syndication for three years as a half-hour show, the NBC 90-minute broadcasts are considered by many as the best.
