    Bob and Doug McKenzie, two unemployed brothers, attempt to scam free beer from the Elsinore Brewery by placing a live mouse in a beer bottle. Instead, they are given jobs at the brewery, where they discover that the evil Brewmeister Smith (played by Max von Sydow) is using a mind-control drug in the beer to take over the world. The brothers team up with Pam Elsinore (Lynne Griffin), the brewery's new owner, to stop Smith's nefarious plans.

   SCTV alum Rick Moranis ("The Little Shop of Horrors," "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids") and Dave Thomas portray the classic Canadian beer-guzzling duo, the MacKenzie Brothers, as they try to stop a mad beer brewer from gaining control of the world.
